Rob is a financial planner and owner of Milestone Financial Services, with over 25 years in the financial services industry.

Rob started his career as a financial planner in 1990 in Gippsland Victoria running a small financial planning business. After moving to the ACT in 1992, Rob established what is known as Milestone Financial Services today. During this time Rob worked across a number of different business projects, working on the establishment of Dacstar PL, a wholesale legal and finance company in Sydney and running a local life insurance broking business in ACT.

Rob, with his business partners and growing team, have built Milestone Financial into one of Canberra’s most prominent fee for service financial planning businesses. Taking on new approaches to delivering services to Milestone’s clients is Rob’s passion.

In 2015, Milestone agreed to join 4 other businesses across Australia to be part of a national pilot, designed to focus on new ways to deliver goals based financial planning to more Australians. As part of the pilot, Milestone introduced an exciting new piece of interactive technology, the Goals Explorer Table, which helps clients explore their financial and personal goals at the start of their journey with a financial planner. We believe this technology provides more valued and specifically focussed financial advice to our clients. Now, with more than 25 years of industry experience and financial planning qualifications, Rob continues to focus on ways to introduce new technology and approaches to delivering an amazing experience to Milestone’s growing team and clients.
