Mai joined the Milestone team in 2019 and is currently working as an associate adviser. Before transitioning to an advising role, Mai worked in paraplanning for 3 years, supporting senior advisers with modelling, analysing clients’ financial situations, offering suggestions based on findings, and creating personalized plans to align with their objectives.

Previously, Mai used to work in diverse industries, from marketing to supply chain management, and most recently as an international tax advisor in a Big 4 accounting firm back in Vietnam. Mai completed her MBA in 2014 majoring in Financial Management in the US and came to Australia with her family in 2018. Mai’s passion for a career in financial planning is evident in all areas of her work; she considers it a noble profession as it is a job that can have a direct impact on someone’s life which she couldn’t find before with her other jobs.

On weekends, she loves spending her time playing at a tennis court or getting a panorama view of Canberra by hiking up the nearby mountains and cooking some nice dishes for her family.
